About the CEO:
Amanda Eaddy McKeithan
I’ve been writing since I was 8 years old—back when notebooks were my safe place and stories were how I made sense of the world. I didn’t always have the language, but I had the pen. And baby, that pen became my lifeline. In 2010, I published my first book and opened the door to a life I didn’t even know I was building. Now, 12 books later… I’m still in awe. Because every page, every project, every woman I’ve worked with reminds me: this is bigger than me. I’ve been in this writing and publishing game for over 15 years, and to be honest? I’m just getting warmed up.
I’m a coach, a ghostwriter, an editor, and a midwife for stories that have been tucked away for too long. But here’s what you really need to know: I care deeply about Black women who write. Women who’ve been quieted. Women who’ve been doubted. Women who’ve been carrying stories like bricks on their chest. Securely Lit Publishing is my labor of love—built just for us. A sacred space where your voice is honored, your truth is safe, and your story gets the spotlight it deserves. Because I believe this with my whole heart: When a Black woman tells her story—the world shifts.
So, if you’ve been sitting on that book…doubting if you’re ready…Let me be the first to say: You are. And I’m right here to walk it out with you. Let’s write it. Let’s publish it. Let’s light up the world.
